The liquid used to sculpt PolyGel is called Slip — the name was inspired by the slip that potters used when working with clay. The slip liquid helped them to slip their hands around the clay and mould it more easily.
For gel nails, a slip solution will thin the consistency a bit so that the gel can be spread over the nail and shaped more easily.
Unlike hard gels, PolyGel is not self-levelling but stays where you place it. So don't rush your application, it doesn’t harden until it’s cured in an LED or UV lamp.
An essential accessory to help shape and smooth your PolyGel, use lightly, applying with your nail brush or double-end nail tool supplied in kits.

Note:
Cure time is about 30 seconds in an LED lamp or two minutes in a UV lamp. PolyGel nails do not experience heat spikes during curing. There is no tacky layer after curing.
